ACTCM Announces New Qigong Immersion & Teacher Training Program
OUR MISSION
The ACTCM Yangsheng Center was founded to provide acupuncture students, acupuncturists, health care providers, and members of the public with an immersion program that focuses on self-cultivation through the study and practice of qigong, meditation and energy cultivation techniques.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
The Center’s immersion program offers an intimate master-student group experience over a two-year period. Students may enroll in any one of the modules offered during the first year, or enroll in the entire 2-year program if they wish to become certified as qigong exercise and prescription teachers. The second year focuses on medicinal qigong and meditation teacher-training, and requires a full-year commitment to maintain group cohesion. Students who complete the full two-year program will be certified as qigong instructors upon passing the teacher-training exam.
THE PROGRAM
Each module focuses on a particular theme and introduces students to a unique qigong exercise set. Modules are either 2.5 or 4 days in length. Students will receive hands-on practice in qigong and meditation in each module.
